Here's a nice short video (complete with electronic background music) showing some stills of Barcelona, Spain. Quite high energy, and some great photos of the culture and natural beauty of this cosmopolitan city, as well as the fantastic Spanish architecture.
The White Villages located along the Ruta Por Los Pueblos Blancos refers to the yearly painting of the house exteriors. This picturesque White Town is in Andalusia (Andalucia), Spain and has an interesting history including the Romans and Moors. Definitely worth a visit on any Spanish holiday!

From the BBC is an interesting video about the current housing slump in Spain. Spanish real estate and property is down up to 30% after the huge rush to build combined with the slowing global economy. I've posted reference to Barcelona's water trouble before, but here's an update from BBC, including a brief video demonstrating how low the water levels are in the Sau Reservoir in this part of Spain. "In a year that so far ranks as Spain's driest since records began 60 years ago, the reservoir is currently holding as little as 18% of its capacity - at a time of year when winter rains would usually have provided an essential boost by now."
Barcelona is now having to ship water in on tankers, worthwhile considering if you're planning a holiday trip or vacation to the region. To read the full article and watch the video, click here.
